Effective date: 1st January 2025
Confirmation of all bookings for Bush Knowing Forest School occurs with acceptance of these Terms and Conditions:
- “Booking” refers to the enrolment of any participant in any event that has been confirmed by acceptance of the Terms and Conditions, paid in full prior to the commencement of the event, and whose name appears on the register of event participants.
- We use the TryBooking system for all payments.
- All sessions are casual bookings and can be booked up until 8am on the morning of the session. Please text 0414 551 246 for availability after this time.
- All bookings are non refundable and in advance.
- When 24 hours written notice is given then the ticket may be transferred to another session – within that specific term group booking only.
- Only one change per booking permitted.
- Less than 24 hours written notice – then the ticket is non refundable or transferable.
- In exceptional circumstances the management have all rights to grant or refuse any changes.
- Participants who leave early from an event or who cannot attend the full session are not eligible for a refund or partial refund.
- Full refunds and or a rebooking is only available in the event of cancellation due to severe weather events or sudden staff unavailability. Extreme weather includes local council warnings for fire, flooded waterways, storm, poor air quality, high temperatures and or strong winds.
- An email and message on Facebook or via text will be sent prior to the session to inform participants in the event of cancellation.
- We welcome Family Day Care and Homeschooling groups.
- We welcome NDIS participants who are self funded and plan managed. Please email bushknowing@gmail.com for more information.
- Specific sessions are suitable for children from 12 months to 12 years of age only. Children must be accompanied by an adult from their immediate family, a FDC scheme or paid carer at all times.
- The exception is when booking to attend the Bush Adventurer’s group, children can be accompanied by an adult from the same family, a friend of the family, FDC scheme, paid carer or Homeschooling group.
- Younger siblings are welcome to attend, though must be registered with their name and age when booking. Close supervision is required by the accompanying adult during the session.
- All families are asked to fill out the online forms which have compulsory waivers for our public liability insurance.
- Please be aware that any other adult who accompanies your child other than stated in the enrolment details will need to fill in a compulsory waiver form for our insurance once on site.
- Maximum two adults per family attending.
- For insurance reasons you must inform me if there are any changes to the information that you have shared when booking.
